Mr. Chew currently holds the rank of Lieutenant with the Evesham Township Police Department. He is currently assigned as the supervisor Office of Professional Standards Bureau. The Office of Professional Standards encompasses Internal Affairs, Accreditation, Inspection Services, Policy formulation and maintenance and Planning and Research. Lt. Chew has been assigned to the Accreditation function since 2006.
His prior experience with the Evesham Township Police Department includes serving several years in the Investigative Bureau, Patrol Sergeant and current position of Lieutenant. The Evesham Township Police Department received State Accreditation in 2007 and is currently enrolled in the national CALEA accreditation process since late 2007.
Lt. Chew earned a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Rowan University and recently earned a Masters of Administrative Sciences degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is also a certified assessor with State CALEA accreditation program and is currently the Vice President of the South Region for the New Jersey Public Safety Accreditation Program.
