Christopher “Chris” Winter is a retired Lieutenant from the Lower Township Police Department (NJ) with 26 years of law enforcement experience. He has held command positions in the Investigative Section and the Administrative Division and has been involved with the accreditation process since 2005. An executive board member of the coalition since 2006, Chris has assisted various agencies with the accreditation process and is an experienced Assessor with the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police. He led his agency through a State Accreditation Assessment and CALEA recognition. Throughout his career, Chris attended scores of police training schools and seminars. Some of his specialized accomplishments include Fire Scene Specialist, Property / Evidence Technician, Certified examiner CVSA, New Jersey Police Instructor, Interview and interrogation, Criminal Investigation Management, New Jersey State Certified Public Manager and the prestigious West Point Command and Leadership Program.
Currently, Chris is providing consulting services to agencies seeking accreditation and re-accreditation status. He is an experienced practitioner with policy development, Criminal Investigation Management and the Property / Evidence function. His leadership ability, work ethic and experience continue to be exemplified in the Law Enforcement field throughout the state.
