Honor Society Awards
HONOR AWARD
 
Award: To recognize accreditation managers and assistant accreditation managers who successfully receive accredited or reaccredited status by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). Each recipient receives an Honor Award plaque and is admitted into the NJPSAC Honor Society. A recipient may only receive this award once.

Eligibility: Candidates should be a primary accreditation manager. However, the candidate may be an assistant accreditation manager provided they completed at least fifty percent of the standards for their program or provided significant contribution to the process for without which the agency would not have succeeded. The candidate must have successfully achieved accreditation status in the national accreditation program, without conditions.

 
RECOGNITION AWARD
 
Award: To recognize accreditation managers and assistant accreditation managers who successfully receive accredited or reaccredited status by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police or nationally recognized by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). Each recipient receives a Recognition Award plaque which may only be received once.

Eligibility: Candidates should be a primary accreditation manager. However, the candidate may be an assistant accreditation manager provided they completed at least fifty percent of the standards for their program or provided significant contribution to the process for without which the agency would not have succeeded. The candidate must have successfully achieved accreditation status in the state accreditation program or national recognition program, without conditions.
 
SENIOR FELLOWSHIP AWARD
 
Award: Recipients shall receive reimbursement for an amount decided by the Executive Board to attend law enforcement related college courses or training programs. This includes but is not be limited to Undergraduate or Graduate tuition; West Point Command and Leadership Program; Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command; Southern Police Institute; Penn State Basic and Advanced Police Executive Development (POLEX); and Executive Institute, etc.

The amount of money awarded would remain as set by the board but the recipient can utilize it much like a scholarship for classes approved by the board until the amount is spent.

Eligibility: The Senior Fellowship Award is awarded periodically to a member(s) of the Coalition that meet or exceed the following award criteria.

The candidate must have served a minimum of two terms on the Coalitions Board of Directors or as a Regional Vice-President. The candidate must serve in a supervisory position and have overseen their agency successfully complete either the national or state accreditation programs.
 
JUNIOR FELLOWSHIP AWARD
 

Award: Recipients attend the New Jersey Police Executive Institute hosted by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP).

Eligibility: Awarded annually to two (2) members of the NJPSAC who meet the following criteria. Must be a current or past member of the Coalitions Board of Directors or regional vice-president. The candidate must serve in a supervisory position and be available to attend all five days of the program. The award covers the cost of tuition only.
